afrotc-l: FTP CADETS
Title: Message
FTPs,
Good evening. Tonight, we noticed a sad trend reach new lows at
Blue Knights. The FTPs were outnumbered about 4 to 1. There were two
cadets from Zulu (not counting the commander) and two or three from
Yankee. This is unacceptable; or rather the whole lack of caring attitude
being projected by the FTP class as a whole. We need to pull it together
and become a team. We need to start showing up for things and doing
right. WE have to prepare ourselves for FIELD TRAINING. Remember the
adage "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." That
is exactly what we should all think, everyday when we are challenged in
ROTC. Tying it with this, everyone needs to do their part in all the other
activities, such as: booths at games, tiger team, and most recently the POW/MIA
vigil. If you don't come you make it harder on your fellow cadets.
Some cadets did not show up to the vigil, causing POC, FTP, and GMC cadets to
stand longer than their allotted time. Let's think of other's when, and
before we act.
Hopefully tomorrow at lab we can begin to demonstrate to the POC and
cadre that we are unifying and can do what is required, and excel at
it.
PAX,
C/3c
