afrotc-l: FTP cadets

To all FTP cadets:

It has been ordered by Captain Peachey that you will all wear your issue combat boots when in uniform, with the exception of PT's and Service Dress. This is being done in an effort to help you get your boots well broken in before going off to field training. The boots must be well shined of course. They will be inspected for such. I tell you this now so that some of you can take them home over the holidays and try to start breaking them in a little. Also, you have more time to get a good base coat of polish on the boots. Again, FTP cadets will wear boots to LLab or any other time you are in blues or BDU's. The GMC will still wear low quarters with blues until told otherwise.

Everyone remember to stay in shape over the holidays, the PFT will be at the beginning of the semester. Have a safe and fun break, and we'll see you all next semester. FTP's: Be ready to train, this will be your time to shine. GMC: Be ready to outwork the FTP crowd. We'll see you in January!

Respectfully,

C/Lt Col Hoffman
