The internet is now accessible from both PCs in the det. Computer #1 has a new ethernet card in it. If you notice any error messages or notifications, just give me a call. All of the necessary software should be installed, but sometimes bugs pop up in the following days. Also, each computer now has a folder called "ROTC Files." Please create a subfolder inside it to store your files (if you need any help, don't hesitate to call me). I skimmed through the hard drives and found files all over the place, including the root directory. These really need to be kept in one place so that they can be removed when they become outdated. Additional folders have also been added for AAS. Please name your folder something easy to understand. Use your name or your job title. There are lots of folders in My Documents and the ROTC folders with indecipherable names filled with mysterious documents. Please just try to keep all this stuff in one place. I'm finding Word documents and memos in the Windows directory and all over the place. If I find this stuff where it doesn't belong, I won't delete it but I will move it to the ROTC folders (and let it's author know). I'm not doing this out of neat-freakiness, I am just trying to get a standardized method of file storage established. This will make the transition between jobs and semesters easier for everyone, just like binder organization. One final note: thanks to everyone for working with me about the sign-in sheets. I really appreciate you taking this little bit of effort to help things run smoothly.
