GMC/FTP, Okay here is the deal, we have 4 more practices before we go to Mardi Gras. We are going to be representing the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE along with Det 425, and I don't know about y'all but I want to look good! We HAVE to be coming to practices. Cadet Hannah has made it clear that our names can still be taken off that list if we don't come to practice. Tonight, only 11 of the cadets out of the 16 who were there, have their names on the list. Those of you who are planning on going to Mardi Gras had better be there the next 4 practices. The flight is a team. If one person looks bad the WHOLE flight looks bad. We all should be at practice giving our all to making Blue Knights the best drill team posible. This is not something we have to do, going to Mardi Gras is a priviledge, one that we must earn. We aren't asked to do much, so the little we are asked to do we should do it with excellence. As we march let us remember that we are representing those who have gone before us, those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives fighting for our freedom. We are not just cadets when we go march in parades, we are ambassadors for the United States Air Force. Think about that over the next few weeks as you think about coming to practice or not, If you really ponder this... THERE SHOULD BE NO QUESTION. It is only 4 hr of your time for the next two weeks, some people gave there lives for us, can we not honor them with a few hours? A quick reminder, tomorrow at 16:00 is Dirt Devils. It is our responsibility as GMC/FTP to keep our Det looking clean. I believe we've been doing an outstanding job, lets keep it up. If you can, try to be there for Dirt Devils. It gets points for your flight, and it helps us make the Det look good. Lets strive for excellence. LETS ROLL!!!!!
