afrotc-l: ATTN all cadets, RE: det computers

As you know, there have been some problems with the printers in the det. I
am working on resolving them, but I cannot do it without your help.

I check into the det several times each week. I am usually there for most of
the afternoon on Thursdays. However, I cannot be watching the computers
constantly. The last time I was in the det, the only problem with the
printers was that one was out of black ink. Today I found that both were
malfunctioning and refusing to print anything. NOBODY informed me of this
beforehand, even though several were aware of it.

I have put my contact info in each of these announcements and plastered it
all over the computer area. If you notice any problem (or think that you may
have caused one) DO NOT HESITATE to contact me!

If you think you know what is "wrong" with any of the equipment, please
don't try to fix it yourself without contacting me first. I need to know
everything that changes on those machines in order to troubleshoot them
later. I appreciate any help I can get keeping them in working order, but
PLEASE talk to me before you actually try anything.
