For those of you who will be marching in the flight at Mardi Gras, here's a list of the things that you need to have for your uniform.
Remember, we leave from the detachment at 12:00 on Friday, BUT there will be a uniform check at 11:00 and it's necessary that you be there so that we can load up and make sure everyone has everything!!!
Modified Service Dress:
your cover with the insignia, service dress coat, US pins, both sets of epitaphs, ribbons ( wear all of them if you have any), long-sleeve shirts or short-sleeve shirts(it's your decision), necktie/tie tab, name tag, belt, pants, wool socks, and boots. the fouragerre (sp?), afscots (sp?), and gloves will be provided.
Make sure that the front AND back of your boots are thoroughly shined.
Cadets Lowery, Robinson, Grant, and Gilliam please bring both uniforms.
On your BDU's you should have the following:
your BDU cover with the insignia, your hard ranks, jacket, tan shirt, belt, pants, blousing straps, wools sock, and boots.
I seriously hope I didn't miss anything, but if I did, send an e-mail out and make corrections. I hope you're looking forward to Mardi Gras. We've put a LOT of work into this, so I KNOW we'll get a lot from it. In the end, let's show New Orleans what Detachment 425 is made of - some awesomely high speed cadets!!!! If you have any questions, comments, concerns, let me know. LET'S ROLL!!!!
Respectfully Yours,
C/3C Hannah
