afrotc-l: From Gen. Feinstein and Congressman Montgomery

I recieved the following messages from Col Yankee and
Capt Shapliegh about the Banquet. They are not for me,
but for the Detachment. C/Col Shuff

C/Col Shuff,
Please let all those responsible for the Awards
Banquet know how much Maj Gen (Ret) Feinstein enjoyed
the event. In fact, he called former Mississippi
Congressman Sonny Montgomery to tell him about it.
Congressman Montgomery (of the Montgomery GI Bill)
called me yesterday afternoon to tell me how much Gen
Feinstein enjoyed himself. The Congressman also
passed along how proud he (the Congressman) is of
MSU's Army and AFROTC programs and its cadets.
The Congressman's call is a tremendous tribute to
not only those who planned and executed the awards
banquet, but to the entire cadet corps.
     WELL DONE! Col Yankee

Ditto, you guys are truly "class acts". There is no
doubt in my mind that if you continue this path of
excellence on active duty you will be invited back to
be the guest speaker. Thanks for all your hard work
and dedication to the corps, you make the cadre look
good! Capt Shapliegh
