and Bible teaching.
Noonday meets each Wednesday at noon. It ends by 12:45. This is a time to
sit around the table, enjoy a good home cooked meal, a relaxed time with
others, and an inspiring talk. The lunch still cost only $3.50. This is
the best buy in town.

Thursday night, taking care of children during the meal, and hosting
adults. You are invited to help with any part of this great event.

7 -- Quotes and Comments

"O God, make the door of this house wide enough
to receive all who need human love and fellowship,
and a heavenly Father's care;
and narrow enough to shut out all envy, pride and hate."
Thomas Ken (1637-1711) an English bishop and hymn-writer.
"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some have
unwittingly entertained angels." the New Testament Book of Hebrews (13.3)
>From Ken: For two years, my son and daughter-in-law were visitors in a
foreign country. Often they were shown hospitality by the people of that
country. Their experience has helped me to take more serious the Biblical
instruction to show hospitality to strangers, especially those from other
countries. It takes courage to offer friendship to a strangers. Risk is
involved. I challenge you to this week to offer yourself to a stranger on
this campus. Begin by offering a smile to someone from another country.
