chialpha-l: Date of our first social

Hey guys,
Summer, Josh, and I feel like we need to move the first social to next Friday 
(September 7).  This would give everyone more time to plan and invite friends, 
coworkers, classmates, etc. to our first social.  It would give us more time to 
find out what the group would enjoy.  Also, this Friday is a holiday weekend so 
many students whether in our group or potential invitees will likely be going 
home on Friday.  Tell us how this sounds.
