To my dearest Chi Alpha Saints:
     I sincerely hope that last nights social went well.  While you all were partying the night away, I was hard at work trying to find some wisdom to
pass your way.  Often times my mind drifts from one truth to another, but last night I - once again - experienced a moment of brilliance. Here it is,
brace yourselves:

If you had a school for professional fireworks people, I don't think you could cover fuses in just one class. It's just too rich a subject. 

Too rich indeed! 
And since I have left you without my words of wisdom for so long, I will entrust you with another secret of the cosmos:

Sometimes, when I drive across the desert in the middle of the night, with no other cars around, I start imagining: What if there were no civilization out
there? No cities, no factories, no people? And then I think: No people or factories? Then who made this car? And this highway? And I get so confused I have to stick my head out the window into the driving rain -- unless there's lightning, because I could get struck on the head by a bolt. 

But this bit of wisdom creates a dillema.  Why?  Think back to another one of my truths I sent you... do you remember....

I hope they never find out that lightning has a lot of vitamins in it,
because do you hide from it or not? 

So the question remains: Do we stick our head into the driving rain - all the while knowing that we run the risk of being struck by a lightening bolt, but
hoping beyond all reason, that lightening is full of vitamins - or do we keep our head inside the window, safe from a lightening bolt but possibly robbing
our bodies of valuable vitamins?

As I finished composing the last question, a tear rolled down my cheek as I came to the realization that I may never again be able to top this letter to
you all.  But I will press on, not for my sake, but for yours and the sake of wisdom.

If you would, my dear friends, try to answer the delimma I have put before you.  Reach out with your minds; the answer is out there...ben
