Hello guys,

Let me go to the point...

---- PRAYER MEETING ----
As we usually do, we will meet in the Chapel of Memories at 7:00 p.m. to
pray. Just to pray? Yes, just to pray. Prayer is a vital part of our 
spiritual life as individuals and as Chi Alpha. We pray for each other,
for our campus, for our nation, etc.  COME AND INTERCEDE BEFORE GOD WITH
US!

---- WORSHIP AND BIBLE STUDY ----
This week we will have a guest speaker. Bob Meek, former pastor of First
Assembly of God, will come to share the Word of God with us. I personally
know Bob and for that reason, I strongly encourage you to be there
Thursday, and to bring a friend with you. TRUST ME... you do not want to
miss this one. Time and place are the usual: 7:00 p.m. in the Faculty
Lounge (3rd floor in the Union).

---- FELLOWSHIP NIGHT ----
As we do from time to time, we will get together on Friday night to
fellowship. Josh has opened his house for us to go and trash it! We will
eat together, have a time of informal worship, and play games. If you need
more information, contact Josh (323-9990). 

---- MEMORY VERSE ----
This week we will memorize a couple of popular verses... Galatians
5:22-23. These verses define the fruit of the Spirit.  I do not know about
you but I am not exactly abundant in all the gifts... so as we meditate in
these verses, let's ask God to show the areas in which we need to grow...
maybe love, maybe patience, maybe self-control, etc... God will reveal it
to each one of us.  Remember that His Word is living and active (Hebrews
4:!2)!
