chialpha-l: Holiday greetings and prayer request

Hey everyone!  I hope your semester has finished up well.  Most of 
you are probably headed off to visit with family over the break.  If 
so, that's great and I hope you have a wonderful time.  I very much 
wanted to head back home to visit my family this year (as is usually 
my custom).  However, with all of my graduate thesis work, this won't 
be possible.  So, I'll be staying in Starkville most of the break and 
working on my thesis.  I'm okay with this, really, but if any of you 
want to call me and check to make sure I haven't gone crazy, please 
feel free to do so.  But seriously, I hope all of you have a 
wonderful Christmas and I hope to see everyone back again at the 
start of the spring semester.

One thing I ask of you is this:  Sometimes professors let you get 
away with doing work for a class past the end of the semester.  In my 
case, I am still working on a project for my class even though all 
work is supposed to be officially done.  I was fortunate that my 
professor gave me an extension on this project rather than giving me 
a zero for a grade.  But the work for this project must be completed 
by next Monday.  I am well underway, but it will still take some 
time.  I have found myself very worn down and un-motivated to do the 
work.  Add to the fact that I have now caught a cold that is 
hindering me physically and the whole matter becomes somewhat more 
unbearable.  So, I would like to ask all of you to pray for me to 
have the strength and ambition to get this project finished up before 
Monday.  Thank you, I appreciate your prayers so much!

May God bless you over Christmas break!  Those that are traveling, 
travel safely.  And Chi Alpha folks, be on the lookout for an 
announcement regarding a book table early in the spring semester.  I 
need you faithful workers!!    :)
