chialpha-l: prayer request

A friend of mine from high school, his name is Chris, just contacted 
me today by e-mail and told me that his father passed away this last 
Tuesday.  They were not very close.  Chris's parents got a divorce 
when he was pretty young, and Chris lived with his mom from about 5th 
grade on with intermittent contact with his father.  I do not know if 
they ever got any closer once Chris began college.  I know that this 
is probably a little tough on him because now there is no chance of 
that relationship to improve.  I hope to call him within the next few 
days to see how he is doing, but I would like to ask all of you to 
pray for my friend Chris as he is facing this situation.
