chialpha-l: THIS WEEK

Hello everyone,

This week, besides our regular activities (prayer meeting on Monday and Bible study on Thursday) we are planning our first book table for Friday... and we need as much help as possible!

What we usually do is set up a table (from around 8 a.m. to 1 or 2 p.m.) outside the Union and give away Bibles, Christian literature, and information about XA. We will also have a dry-erase board where we ask a question and ask students walking by to answer it, creating an excuse to start a conversation and personally invite them to our meetings. We like to have at least two persons in the table at all times. We need to know who may be able to come and help us by being there (you stay for as long as you want/can.) We understand that most of us have classes, so we do not want to give you an excuse to skip class (but if you are going to skip class anyway, then come). PLEASE REPLY TO ME AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMING TO HELP US WITH THE BOOKTABLE AND TELL ME WHAT TIMES YOU ARE PLANNING ON BEING THERE.
