Hey everyone! It was neat to hear that you all are working on your verses and were quoting them tonight. Here is the memory verse plan for this week: Days 1-2: Memorize Romans 12:1 (Read Romans 11:32-12:2 for the context.) Days 3-4: Memorize John 14:21 (Read John 14:15-21 for the context.) Days 5-7: Review these verses and the ones from last week. Also, try to review the verses from last week everyday during spare time. It helps to write them down and keep them with you so that when you have a free moment you can work on them (while waiting for a class to start, while eating lunch, waiting in for a friend, etc.) You'll be surprised at how many times during the day that you have just a couple of minutes of spare time...perfect for review a couple of verses. Also, we are planning our next book table for November 1. Next week, Chi Alpha will be a little different. We will have praise and worship and prayer. After that, we will work on cookie bags for the book table. (If you are able to donate a couple of bucks to help pay for the cookies, that would be great.) One more thing, if you have ideas for the book table, our regular meetings, our fellowship time, etc., please let us know. We believe God speaks to us as the Body of Christ. If you have a special gift in a particular area, feel free to let us know how you believe that God could use you in our group. Have a great week and keep in mind who you are in Christ--a child of the King. Arturo and Myra
