Subject: Invitation to be with other XA groups

Myra and Keith,

I wanted to extend an invitation to you  and your groups.  On Friday, Nov. 22, the night before the big Alabama-Auburn game  (it's the big one on this side of the state line), we have invited all of the XA groups in Alabama to come to Tuscaloosa for a big joint XA meeting.  Since you guys are so close, we want you to come and be a part of the event.  I think it will give your students some vision for what can happen on their campus.

Below is what I sent to everyone about the weekend:
On that Friday night at 7:00 we will have XA, followed by a great party at the XA House.  We will order pizza for the whole bunch.  No charge.  And no one needs to bring anything.  It will all be provided by us.  We will have a Ping-pong tourney...an Air Hockey tourney...a Super Nintendo tourney...A chess tourney....and anything else we can think of.  We may even get wild and do some karaoke.  After the party, we will crash (boys at the XA House and girls at the XA Girls House).  Tell your students to bring sleeping bags and appropriate sleeping attire (you may choose to go back home and not stay since you live so close). Now, I know some of you will want to be party-poopers and not stay for the big game.  If so, then you are welcome to leave on Saturday morning.  But for those of you who would like to hang around for the excitement of one of the greatest college football games in the nation, then stick around the XA House.  We will have the game on the big TV.  And we will be able to hear the announcer at the stadium.  It's going to be awesome.

If you would like to come, please just let me know.  I just need to know the number of students you think you might bring so we can make sure we have enough floor space for everyone to sleep.

Hope you can make it,
Shane
