Hey, hope everyone is doing well.  Just wanted to update the concerned parties on what I have been up to in Huntsville.  Things are definitely different when you are working full time instead of being in school.  I was just thinking today that in school, being a rocket scientist, it was always fun to say "Hey, it's not rocket science."  And now that I have this government related job, it is even more fun to say "Well, that's close enough for government work."

But seriously folks, I miss almost everything about being at MSU.  Mostly the people of course.  But the good news is, I have found a church that I really enjoy being a part of.  That's been really cool because I have missed that a great deal too.  It is nice to have that church family again.  Making friends here in Huntsville is something I desperately needed to do.  It was pretty crazy to sit at home at night and be virtually "alone" even though I am surrounded or close by approximately 300,000 other people.  But, I am anxious to get involved with the church and contribute to it.  They have their own college ministry, and I hope to be able to contribute to that soon.

Amidst all the work I am doing, I occasionally find time to go looking for a house.  I am zeroing in on that, and hope to settle on something soon (I have generous friends who have let me stay with them in the meantime).  When I get a house though, I will extend the invitation for anyone to come visit.  If you think about it, pray for my finances.  Yeah, I am being payed pretty well, but I still have to keep a budget.  Mostly, I am hoping and praying to find a good home at a good price and then to get a good interest rate on the mortgage (which is actually pretty easy to do these days).  Thanks so much!
