chialpha-l: SALT, dinner, etc.

Hey everyone! We hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of real thanks to God for His goodness. We have a few things to pass on to you:

1) FREE FOOD BEFORE EXAMS--First Assembly of God will host an end-of-the-semester dinner this Thursday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. It should be fun and good food (lasagna). We hope that you can be there. Feel free to bring a friend, but please (we beg you), let us know ASAP if you are planning on coming. That way we can have plenty of food for everyone. The church is located on Louisville Street. If you are on HWY 12 and are coming from campus, take a right at the Amoco and just keep going until you see the church on the left.

2) T-shirts--We have them. They are $15. We need to sell all the ones that we have. We will bring them to the dinner or you can come by our apartment to pick them up.

3) MEETINGS--Besides the dinner, our next meeting will be Jan. 9.

4) VERSES--We won't send out any memory verses over the holidays. It would be a good time to memorize verses on your own. (If you keep it up, it will be easier to stay in the habit of memorizing at least 2 a week.)
