Hello guys,
This semester is moving fast…
Spring break is here and soon the school year will be over. Let me encourage
you to be steadfast in your faith and in your pursuit of God.
Some of the things coming up soon are the
following:

Monday:
Dinner for girls only. Every week all the girls get together at Myra’s
apartment to have supper, talk, and pray together. If you are a girl, you
qualify (no Daniel, you cannot come). Please let Myra know if you
are coming – call 323-2946 or email
her.

Thursday:
Worship and Bible study. Arturo (that’s me) will be sharing on prayer.
Last week we talked about the purpose of prayer and things that hinder our
prayer life. This coming week we will talk about how to pray.

First Assembly of God in Starkville- March 7-9 at 7:00 p.m.

Benny
Hinn crusade during spring break. If you are interested, contact Bobby

in concert – March 21st. If you are interested, contact

XA RETREAT
– MARCH 28 & 29. Mark down this weekend. Our group will be joined
by the XA from Ole Miss at the Indian Springs
campground (Kosciusko, MS) to get away
from school (at least for 24 hrs) and enjoy Christian fellowship. We will
have a chance to play games (ping-pong, basketball, board games, etc), to
worship together, and to study the Bible. The cost is $24.00 (it includes
lodging and four meals). Please let us know whether or not you will be able
to come ASAP.
Last Thursday we talked about prayer. At
the end of the meeting, we made a commitment to something that we call
“15-15”. Let me explain… we committed ourselves to pray for
at least 15 minutes during the next 15 days. Those of you that already
started it, keep it up. If you were not there Thursday, let me challenge you
to do it.
