I don't teach inclusion students, but I do have some special education students. Most of them did ok when it comes to keyboarding, but word processing is a problem. I just let them continue to work in keyboarding or Paint. I do not know what to do with inclusion. I was wondering if anybody else teaches special education students. I have 9 in one class. Some of them can't even read or even log on to the computer after a semester of work. I was also wondering who people are handling students that are entering the program after Christmas that have never had Computer Discovery. Our school moved several 7th graders to 8th grade after Christmas and they are in our class now. I find = many of them progressed nicely throughout the keyboarding units but are = not very bogged down in Word Processing.
