Our district has vocational teachers on a 10
month contract.
I have a question for mostly A site
teachers. Is your equiment "falling apart"? We have
"headaches" daily with our equipment. Screen freezes often but
our main problem right now is......the monitor just goes black with a blinking
cursor in the upper left corner. It isn't happening to just a few
computers. It is happening randomly around the room. Without warning
it is just gone!! The only way to get it back is to shut it down and
reboot. Of course with a T1 internet connection, that causes a
pain....have to disconnect T1..reboot..then reconnect...which means all students
are affected...not just the one at that particular station. Our technology
coordinator who is GREAT can't figure this one out!! We also are having
several a day just disconnect from the server which causes the same delay to the
students. By the end of the day, my patience is gone and frustration level
is HIGH!! Anyone out there have suggestions?
