I was shocked at the mention that that the F sites would not be getting a
laptop.  I have used mine a great deal and have found it to be a great asset
at home.


I wonder why some school districts have not allowed this, since the
equipment was bought by the State, the districts should not be allowed to
mandate how it is used.  It seems that the State could have stated that a
provision of buying the equipment would allow the teachers to take home the
laptops.

A suggestion would be, to allow the districts to choose a laptop or a
desktop.  Which ever would be more beneficial to the school and the teacher.
