computerdisc-l: Keyboard Skillls

        I am a B site who believes keying skills are taught for the entire
course.  We start class each day with keyboard lessons.  When they have run
all keyboard lessons software (toward the end of the course), I have them
key from the text.  I also run timed writings at least three days each week
with the idea being to achieve the 30cwm by the end of the course.  
        I do not start Word Pro until the majority have completed the
alphabetic keyboard lessons and require the use of keyboard covers from day one.
        As for those of you who are'nt getting lap tops this year, just
think of the A & B sites- we have Win 3.1!
