Email viruses are hoaxes. There is no such thing. An email ATTACHMENT can have a virus or a worm but not the email itself, at least not yet. The "virus" is the message itself that warns of the "virus". It is not damaging but the constant forwarding of the warning message spreads the message itself around wasting bandwidth and other resources. Besides, if an email virus could exist (which it can't), would it not be best sent on a message warning against itself. It would spread like crazy. Before you forward a message about a virus, check this site. Bookmark it for future reference. http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html Marvin Adams Columbia School District
