I felt the same way. I thought if I gave it as an assignment I must grade it. I have been teaching Computer Discovery for four years and this is the first year I have not tried to grade everything, I give them credit for what they have done. For example Exam2xx.wks, I check to make sure they have it, but I grade Exam4xx.wks. If they complete exam2 and exam3 and exam4 is at 100% they have a good understanding of the assignment. I teach Career Discovery as well and see all 7th and 8th graders at my school, which is about 125, I was loosing my mind before.
