Congratulations on your new position, Cynthia! There is such a great need
for teacher training, particularly in the area of tech. integration.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am currently teaching second grade with
the Miss. Band of Choctaw Indians, but am moving to a new Tech Prep
program (computer disc.) at the brand new Neshoba Central Middle School in
Philadelphia, MS. I hold a Master's in Instructional Tech. from MSU and am
sort of working on a doctoral degree.
I have presented several workshops on integration. Friends tell me that
they need the most help in finding ideas and activities. My most
successful sessions have included resources for ideas and examples of
lessons in various subjects/grades which include technology.
I hope this helps.
