Does she have access to the Internet anywhere?  If so, a great math problem
solving web site is http://www.olemiss.edu/mathed/problem.htm .  She could
get a copy of the problems and put them on the board each Monday for her
students to attempt.  Then she could enter her students in the contest in
one mass email.  Everyone should check it out.  I think it is wonderful.
