Dear Teachers, I am starting a Spreadsheet unit, and I have been searching for some sites. I wanted to share them with you. I have listed the sites, and then I have a short discription of each site. This is an example of information that will be avalable on the Computer Discovery Web Site. If you have any to add - please send. Hope you enjoy... http://www.microsoft.com/education/tutorial/classroom/ww95/grade.asp This site is a site that teachers students/teachers how to create a grade book. It has step-by-step instructions for students/teachers to follow. This site has a wonderful downloadable filefor teachers to use. It is AWESOME!!!!! http://www.geekgirls.com/menu_spreadsheets.htm This is a good knowledge website. The site explains basic spreadsheet concepts, spreadsheet design, and “spreadsheeting” tips. I believe that this would be a good web site for students who finish early with daily lessons to explore. Sometimes, I let students explore web sites and then they write a summary of the web site. http://kitap.ankara.edu.tr/0789713578/index.htm This site is a Microsoft Works tutorial site. Scroll down to the Spreadsheet site. It has a lot of step-by-step instruction, and it is not very specific (sometimes that is not a good thing, and sometimes it is!). Robin Burkes |
