I need some help from some of you experienced teachers. This was not a problem when I taught a class that didn't offer a high school unit but now I have a BIG problem. How do you deal with your special ed inclusion kids? A few of the ones I have cannot type with the keyboards uncovered so I know they won't be able to type when I get my covers. I also know that they will not be able to work all of the lessons in the Horizons book. My special ed teachers say that with the accommodations I need to make they will all pass. Is this fair? Are they learning anything if I GIVE it to them. They are all on a diploma track and so they will expect a high school credit. I need suggestions please. I have a conference with the special education coordinator soon to work this out. Thanks, Shannon Lott North Pike Middle __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
