COSN, ISTE AND NEA FILE COMMENTS WITH THE FCC The FCC received over 100 responses to its request for comments on the FCC's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on the E-Rate. The agency had requested comment on various aspects of five major program areas: the application process, the disbursement of funds, the appeals process, program integrity assurance, and what to do with unused or unclaimed funds.
