Welcome to the wonderful world of Glencoe! (heavy sarcasm)

 

My best advice is to make sure that your wits and stress level are

flexible. I did not find that they were losing all their work for the day;

however, I would not rule it out as a possibility.  I did not have near

the troubles that other teachers did but I don't know why.  I just tried to

keep the local hard drives as clean as possible--saved everything on the

server and periodically cleaned off students' "saving" mistakes.

 

I am using Microtype Pro this year and so far not one crash! I was lucky

though that another lab had the license and then they closed that lab. I

inherited it.

 

You may want to contact Glencoe and see if you are using the newest release of

that version. There was some mention of teachers who were having trouble receiving

another release from Glencoe. I do not know if it worked any better though.
