Re: computerdisc-l: GCAK

I have used Applied MIcro-Type for the past four years
to teach my students typing. GCAK is a huge program
that requires a lot of ram. I have found that
Children jam the machines because they do not log off
correctly. So I just use the GCAK as an enrichment or
free time skill builder. During the career unit we
view the videos on the differnt careers, but I stick
with Micro Type for my keyboarding unit. The reports
are easy to print, and they are easy to create a
grading system. Also it is easy to control each
students account.
