computerdisc-l: Homebound student

I have an 8th grade Computer Discovery student who was recently in an accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down.  He is now considered homebound in therapy at the University Hospital in Jackson and will be there months probably.  I have been requested to provide work for this student so he can keep up and be ready to return to class when he can.  What do you do?  Since we do not really have a text I can send, it is going to be difficult.  We are about half-way through keyboading so he doesn't even know his keyboard as he has been out for 4 weeks already.  My suggestion to the counselor was that the student be allowed to repeat Computer Discovery next year since this may become an important part of his career future.  She says I am required to provide work if he is homebound.  Any ideas?
