computerdisc-l: Speedskin Keyboarding Covers

I orginally sent this to Robin and she asked me to post it to the group. If
you need more info. let me know!

Got your email about the speedskins--the three lab teachers here ordered
them at the beginning of the school year and have been using them all year.
We really like them. Because they don't cover the entire keyboard, it
doesn't keep them as clean (down inside, etc.), but it is nice to not have all
of the other function keys, key pad, etc. covered. We have had a problem with
students sneaking and lifting the cover when we weren't looking, but
overall I think we've decided to stick with these.

By the way, we ordered our speedskins from Classroom Direct and only
paid $9.99 if we ordered 25 or more. The ones from Southwestern look exactly
like the ones we have (same name and everything). I would hate for anyone to
waste that extra money if they can get the same thing for less somewhere else.
Sounds like Southwestern is acting as middleman and trying to make some money
from these.
