Professional
development activities for the fall are limited. It is our goal to allow
teachers to remain in their classrooms with their students during the school
year. With that in mind, we want to continue to offer professional development
opportunities to teachers. We are offering 2 online training
opportunities. Registration deadline is October 6. If you are
interested, contact the instructor. More information is

Procedures for Completing
Online Professional Development Sessions
- Email your instructor.
She will send you a prerequisite check sheet. Complete it and email it back to
her. If you are not able to do all of the competencies on the check sheet, you
either need to get help and learn the task or you may decide that online
professional development is not best for you.
- Your instructor will send
you information to log into the Blackboard learning system.
- Your instructor will
assign you projects to complete. Work through the project and email your
instructor if you have any questions.
- When you complete your
project, email it to your instructor.
- Print each completed
project and place in a notebook with your name on it. You will show your
instructor your notebook at the end of the training time.
- You will receive feedback
from your instructor. She will send you feedback and let you know if your work
is satisfactory. If it is, you will be invited to demonstrate proficiency in
front of your instructor at a designated location on a designated date at the
end of the semester. We could possibly do this regionally depending on the
number of participants and their locations.
- Upon successful
completion, you will receive your CEU certificates.
