Re: computerdisc-l: one handed keyboard
Hi Theresia! As far as purchasing a keyboard you can follow this link to
Yahoo!
<http://search.shopping.yahoo.com/search;_ylc=X3oDMTFqM2dkYmJjBF9TAzk2MDc5MjYwBGsDbGVmdCBoYW5kZWQga2V5Ym9hcmQEc2VjA2tiBHNsawN0aXRsZQ--?p=left+handed+keyboard>
For academic pricing I would try the Academic Superstore
<http://www.academicsuperstore.com/>.
I found this article on the EBSCO database and it might help shed some
light on helping someone who only has the use of one hand to learn
keyboarding skills. I believe you can find this article by using
MAGNOLIA. The following is the reference.
Keller, K., D'Andrea, & Forney, P. (1998). Determining reading and
writing media for individuals with visual and physical impairments.
/Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness, 92/(3), 162-175.
I'm sorry I don't have any advice on revisions to your teaching plans.
