computerdisc-l: restriction of labs

Have anyother districts restricting the Computer Discovery teacher's usage of their desktops?  We are being restricted as to what applications we can use and what we can put on our own computers.  Our teachers are being issued the same NAL that the student's get when they log in. 

 

We are trying to assess if anyone else is having this same problem and if it conflicts with the State Department's rule that we are to be able to maintain our own labs.  They have us so tied in to the school and district network that if one goes down we go down. 

 

If anyone is having a problem with this or knows what we can do or who we can talk to about this, please let me know.
