Re: computerdisc-l: Keyboarding students

I have had that same problem -- I teach Keyboarding in the high school. All students complete the daily lesson. I have supplemental typing programs such Mavis Beacon. When the advanced students complete the day's lesson, they go into Mavis Beacon. Mavis is set up where it tests the students typing, then works on weaknesses.

I need some help!
I have some students in my class that can type 40 and 50 words a minute. They took typing last year in the 7th Grade. Those students are mixed in with students that cannot type. What should I do? Do you have some suggestions?
