RE: computerdisc-l: Keyboarding students

I also use the Paint program a lot. I'll try to remember Monday to send
out some of the examples I use to get them started. I try to get them
to design (draw) a computer that a teenager would like to have in their
bedrooms. If I don't send it out the first of the week, someone remind
me.

Every year I have problems with some students excelling at typing while
others are struggling. After students complete the keyboarding lesson,
and book work assigned, I have enrichment activities in paint,
powerpoint,
or whatever other program we are working in. Students really enjoy
working in PowerPoint and do not complain about having additional work.
