computerdisc-l: New Printer Problems

Dear Computer Discovery Teachers,

If there are any of you out there still reading this list-serve, I would value any helpful hints.

I have taught C.D. in this lab for 8 years with the same HP8100N printer.  It lasted 8 years with NO service calls on it whatsoever.

It bit the dust, however, and our tech cord. got me a new Lexmark T640.  He has spent hours and hours trying to install the printer, but to no avail. 

Any suggestions?  We are still using Windows 98.  Anyone know someone in the North Mississippi area that I might could utilize?
