Dear state and local Tech Prep colleagues:

Plans for the 2006 NTPN conference in Dallas are really taking shape. A
six-page brochure with information on featured speakers, optional workshops,
a preconference, and registration information is at the printer, and will be
ready soon. You can see the brochure on our website at www.ntpn.info. Click
on "2006 NTPN conference". From there, you can click on "brochure", or for
online registration click on "registration information".

If you are willing to distribute multiple copies of the conference brochure,
please let me know how many copies that you would like shipped to you.

Also, remember that the presentation proposal deadline is March 24, this
Friday. Please encourage your best programs to make a presentation. Contact
the NTPN conference coordinator, Sheila Wilson, swilson@cord.org, if you
have a question about presentations. Let her know if you need a brief
deadline extension.

Something new at the conference this year is a tour (by bus) of a partnering
high school (Duncanville), community college (Richland), and employer (Texas
Instruments). This is one of the all-day Wednesday optional workshops
(November 1). Registration will be limited to the first 40 (one bus load).
