The Tech Prep November 17 Central Region Follow-up Training has been rescheduled for January 11 at Hinds Community College's Rankin Campus. MECA members will be gathering January 29-31, 2007 for the 24th Annual MECA Conference (Mississippi Education Computing Association) at the Hilton Convention Center in Jackson. The Hear Me Project is sponsoring an HIV/AIDS story-writing competition for young people ages 14 to 22. The contest "Your World/Your Words," requires participants to send in original real-life or fictitious stories about vulnerability to HIV and AIDS and the winner will receive $2,500.
