MECA members will be gathering January 29-31, 2007 for the 24th Annual
MECA Conference (Mississippi Education Computing Association) at the
Hilton Convention Center in Jackson. The $65 early bird registration
will continue through November 15. Registration prices - which include
membership - escalate closer to the conference date. There is still
plenty of time to submit session proposals (through November 30). Please
encourage staff within your districts to attend and, for those with a
special flair for technology, to propose presentations. The more we
learn from each other, the more successful we'll all be in our teaching,
learning, and technology endeavors. For more information on registration
and proposal submissions, visit the MECA web site at
http://www.ms-meca.org.

Marilyn Bowen at 662-325-2510 or mdb7@ra.msstate.edu.
