fsfaculty: Vote on Post Tenure Review

On October 2 an email was sent to all of the Faculty regarding a vote on the Post Tenure Review. Because of a problem with some email addresses some faculty members did not receive this email.

Therefore the voting time has been extended to Friday, October 11 at 12 Noon.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY VOTED, PLEASE DO NOT VOTE AGAIN

Re:      Vote on Post-Tenure Review


Because there was not a quorum of faculty present at the General Faculty 
Meeting in September, we must vote on the Post-Tenure Review Policy by 
mail.  A copy of the policy is located at 
http://www.msstate.edu/org/FS/draftpolicy.html.

The policy was written by an ad hoc committee of majority-elected faculty 
members and was approved by the Robert Holland Faculty Senate.  
Failure to pass this policy may result in one being imposed on us.

Only members of the General Faculty (Academic, Research, Extension, and 
Clinical faculty series) are eligible to vote.  Please submit your votes by 
e-mail  to Delores Hudson (dhudson@Senate.msstate.edu) by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 8, 2002.  Please do not hesitate to call (5-7576) or 
e-mail (wjdiehl@ra.msstate.edu) me if you have any questions.
