Faculty Colleagues:

For your information, the results of the recent poll concerning Thursday night football showed that 223 faculty could accept a Thursday night game during an academic week and 13 faculty were opposed to it.  Although reasons given in opposition were varied, the dominant theme was a concern for the academic integrity of the university, particularly as it related to the possibility of canceling or disrupting classes and laboratories on both Thursday and Friday.  This information was passed on to President Lee.  Thank you for your input.
