Faculty Colleagues:

I want to encourage you to attend the Spring 2004 meeting of the
General Faculty on Monday, Feb. 9, at 3:30pm in the Hunter Henry Center.


In January, 2004, a revised University Promotion and Tenure document
was submitted by the University Promotion and Tenure Committee to the
Robert Holland Faculty Senate in accordance with requirements for
modifying that document.  The revised document may be found at the
Faculty Senate website  (www.facultysenate.mssate.edu)  and will be
discussed at the General Faculty meeting.  A final vote on this document
will occur at the March meeting of the Faculty Senate.  Please send any
comments about the revised document to Mark Goodman, Chair of the
Faculty Affairs Committee (mgoodman@comm.msstate.edu).
