Dear Colleagues:

I am in charge of the Spring Roundtable to be held on Saturday, March
27 at 
Plymouth Bluff.  The Faculty Senate initiated this format in 2000 to 
facilitate administration-faculty interaction in regard to a specific
topic 
of interest once per semester.  The participants include 16 faculty (8
from 
Faculty Senate, 8 from General Faculty) and 8 administrators (chosen by
the 
President) who meet to discuss one general topic.

I am in charge of this upcoming roundtable which includes choosing the

topic for discussion.  I would like to receive any suggestions you may
have 
in this regard.  The following have been discussed in previous
roundtables:

Campus Morale  (Fall 2000)
Admission Standards  (Spring 2001)
Future Direction of MSU  (Fall 2001)
University Governance  (Spring 2002)
Undergraduate Enrollment  (Fall 2002)
Graduate Education  (Spring 2003)
Promotion and Tenure  (Fall 2003)
