fsfaculty: Message from Faculty Senate

Faculty Colleagues: 

As we near the end of this academic year, I want to thank
each of you for the many contributions you have made to the University during
2006-7. This has been a very full year, one in which you have performed many
tasks, visible and invisible, to make MSU a stronger university and one more
involved with the local communities. To those of you leaving through retirement
or to other institutions, I wish you the best; may your efforts bring you
fulfillment and joy, which make for a pleasurable life. For those of you
carrying  the torch of learning, teaching, research, and service onward here at
MSU, I wish you a summer of growth and relaxation. May your energy and
enthusiasm be renewed, as we continue to engage in the noble profession of
education. A special thanks to those of you who served, and will serve, on
Faculty Senate; this is a service in a cause which is most essential to the
success of the total University.
