Re: greenhouse-tomatoes: mites
Hello Doc, a little heavy on a useful tool, the way I saw the words. After seeing
your reply I did a Google and the top of the list was:
Kelthane* MF miticide
Active Ingredient: Dicofol
Profile: Kelthane* MF miticide provides proven, cost-effective control of most species of agricultural mites, including spider mites, in cotton, citrus, pecans, tomatoes and peppers. Kelthane provides extended residual control on treated foliage and fruit, up to 21 days (dependent upon rate) on all stages of mites including eggs. Kelthane does not harm bees or most beneficial insect predators, making it highly compatible in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
Yes the MSDS said to be careful around fish and water, that's a norm for a lot of
products, gas and oil too. Read the MSDS for things for your nutrients solution.
I hope you got a Haz-Maz Team to properly remove and dump your monitor in an
approved dump site and you got a burning permit for the clothes? They should of
been picked up by a different H-M teem, put into the proper container and moved to the proper waste site.
Take Care P.B.Yup
Aloha ya all Michael:
I just finished reading the Material Safety Sheet and the Specimen Label for
Kelthane MF. I am currently replacing my computer screen as well as burning
the clothes worn while viewing the information. This is the TRUE WMD.
Thanks for the effort but I'm still looking for a less volent approach to
those cute mites.
Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa
