Educational & Business Systems, Inc (EBS) will be on campus to demonstrate a new product - Videodidact. Videodidact is a computer classroom management system that gives the instructor total control over one or all of the computers in the classroom or lab. Information Technology Services is providing a computer lab in which the demonstrations will be held. According to EBS, with Videodidact, the instructor can -View and scan each student's screen with one single keystroke -Transfer his/her computer screen to any or all the student's computer screen -Blank out any or all student's computer screens -Disable student's keyboard and mouse -Send a student's screen to one, to a group, or to all students -Transfer an image or movie in real-time between any computer or groups of computer within the classroom. Videodidact works independently from any software or operating system, which is used in the classroom/lab. Whether there are standard PC's, Macintosh or Sun workstations in the classroom/lab or even a mix of them, Videodidact will work the same way, according to EBS.
