info: Financial End-of-Year Processing

To users of the MSU Banner System:


Banner financial year-end processing for fiscal year 2003-2004 will be
performed during the weekend of July 23rd, 24th, and 25th.  We
anticipate that the MSU Banner production database (PROD) will be
unavailable for general departmental use from 6:00 PM Friday, July 23rd
thru 12:00 Noon Sunday, July 25th.  

Please note that Banner Web applications are not affected by this
downtime and will be accessible during this weekend.



To users of the Alumni and Foundation Banner System:

The Alumni and Foundation Banner database will be unavailable from 6:00
PM Friday, July 23rd until 9:00 AM Saturday, July 24th.  Financial
year-end processing for fiscal year 2003-2004 will be performed during
this time.



We appreciate your patience as we close fiscal year 2003-2004 for both
of these Banner systems.  If you have any questions or concerns, please
contact the Help Desk at 325-0631.
